Really, escorting anything in this game is a pain since the AI makes no effort to cooperate. The Horse Armor Downloadable Content (DLC) is the first of nine plugins to be released for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.It costs 1.99 for the PC version or 200 MS points for the Xbox 360 version. (Seriously, even the extra Health boost from Horse Armor doesn't change this.) It also a pain that's it's very tricky to hit a wolf or mountain lion attacking your horse, since the horse is probably in the way.
Yeah, horses in this game are monster food waiting to happen.
